What students get out of our program:
Learn how to solve any problem
We'll teach you an 8 step process to solve any problem, which you can use for the rest of your academic, professional and personal life.
Be ready for the real world
The jobs of today and tomorrow require more collaboration, creativity, critical thinking and initiative than ever. We'll help students prepare for them.
Make a difference
We all want to do something that matters with our lives. Leader School gives students the mindset, skills, and support they need to do just that.
Be your best you
Our students learn how to connect, communicate and collaborate well with others, and how to keep their bodies and minds healthy so they can bring their best self to their project.
Stand out from the crowd
Colleges and employers are looking for people that can bring a unique perspective and skill set and become a leader amongst their peers. Leader School will help students do just that.
Gain a mentor
Build your network
The old saying, "It's not what you know, but who you know," is more true now than ever. At Leader School, students can connect with real people in their community that are working on solving problems they're interested in, and maybe even shadow or work with them.
Solving a problem is a big challenge, but it's also a ton of fun. At Leader School, students are free to think of crazy, creative ideas, try things out, and work on things they're passionate about.

How we solve problems:
We guide students through a fun & challenging 8-step process that's based on design thinking, which is used by leading companies around the world like Google and Apple.
Think about problems you or others in your community are having & choose one to try to solve.
Ask questions to get to the root of the problem, do some research & put yourself in the shoes of people experiencing the problem.
Brainstorm ways to solve the problem, discuss their pros and cons & choose one to try.
Determine what parts of your solution are needed most & create a small scale version.
Design an experiment to determine whether your solution works & recruit real people to test it with.
Analyze the results of the experiment to determine whether it worked and how it could be improved.
Use what you learned from the experiment to make your solution even better, test again, and repeat until you've landed on a solution that works.
Bring your solution to more people & learn how to make or raise money with your idea.
